GPL LWFF needs constant recalibration! Help!

by Sunny Cho » Wed, 09 Feb 2000 04:00:00

I have to recalibrate my LWFF every time I start GPL; can anyone explain
why and if there is anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

When I start GPL, I am taken to the Option screen. When I click on
Calibrate, the calibration screen appears but when I move the wheel and
pedals, there is no corresponding movement onscreen which seems like the
wheel is not detected in the game.

However, When I quit GPL and then restart the game, I can calibrate
properly again.

This is getting a bit tiresome and I hope someone has a solution for
this, I'd be most obliged.

My setup:
Intel PIII450
128 MB SDRAM
GeForce 256 SDR VGA card
Logitech WFF wheel
Win98SE
Directx 7a
GPL 1.02, force feedback enabled.

Have you used DXTweak?
