Does anyone know if the current version of Cart Racing (Indy car Racing-II)
by Sierra / Papyrus solves the "Save Game Bug" when using the Rendition
version? The bug causes the game to crash when trying to resume a saved
race.

Thanks for any answers,

Sal V.

Try this...After saving a race, do a clean reboot, re-enter ICR2, and
without entering another track, enter the one with the saved race.  I
think that something doesn't get released from memory when leaving
and entering another track, or without a clean reboot.  I can use the
saverace feature, but have to jump through hoops (as above) to get it
to work.

Cheers!

Marc

AHA!!!
Somebody else who has experienced this!!
I removed the Rendition version from my system because I became so
damned frustrated by this glitch....something that not even Papyrus were
able to help me with.

Sorry.

Why don't you wait for an answer........like most R.A.S.
readers.......instead of boring us with all of your posts which are more
inconsequential than not. Maybe you have too much time on your
hands........the last I checked  this is still a NEWSGROUP not a chat room.
So please give us the advice(uh oh) and information that we ask for and
spare us the bullshit. One last ?......how many posts have you read and
didn;t respond to........think about it! That's my 2 pennies.

David, if you like NG's without personality and personalities, for some unknown reason,
just ID all the personalities and get a killbot to ignore their posts. Newsgroup,
chatroom, what's the friggin difference? If you want to be so picky then I object to you
expressing displeasure with Bruce's post's because this is nothing NEW in this NEWS group!
You guys are just saying the same OLD inconsequential stuff over and over again! Besides,
there is useful info in his post anyway.
Must be something about August. The NG has come alive!
