: I just bought the aforementioned product to make NASCAR a bit easier and
: more realistic. (Would have preferred a REAL steering wheel, but my
: budget would not cooperate.) I'm having some trouble with it. I can get
: it to work (finally), but after I finish a session and go back to the
: menus, it just goes crazy again. I've tried hitting "J" as Papyrus
: suggested, but that doesn't seem to do anything.
: Anybody else out there using one of these things? If not, anybody got
: any suggestions for problem resolution?
: Thanks in advance!

I realize it doesn't fit your budget, but get rid of the IBM yoke. It's
a piece of junk when used as a steering wheel. Might be ok for flight
sims (don't know). Save some money and at least get the thrustmaster
wheel. Or as another option, get some rudder pedals and a good
joystick. Right now, I'm waiting for a new steering POT from
Thrustmaster, and am using a CH flightstick and the thrustmaster pedals.
I think the pedals, more than the steering wheel, make the car easier to
drive.
Good luck with your racing.
