dont know why, it does get past the loading screen (after the intro video) but its fine if tried from another os on same computer???

Did you install it under win 2k or are you just using the same version you
installed in another OS ?
N4 writes info that is needed to run the game to the windows registry file,
if you installed in win 98 and try to run in win 2000 it will not work.

whoop my bad it wasnt nascar i couldnet get to start, it was nfs porches 2000
