I didn't, and in that one respect, it's a valid point. But the other point I
believe you are trying to make, that TSW is making excuses for poorly
designed equipment. That is untrue. The TSW wheels are incredibly solid and
the layout is big part of why that is so. They are easy to repair, (A
feature I have yet to use, after three years.) and this too, lends to the
layout. They are switchable between two and three axis and this lends to the
layout. Whether or not they could have done it differently, I can't say...
not that smart. But I am smart enough to know that a game manufacturer who
puts out a game that does not try to find all the external hardware it may
need, given the nature of variety in PCs world wide, is not worthy of being
called a game manufacturer. There is no bigger bonehead blunder. It's like
the game not recognizing a GForce card for some reason. Unforgivable... and
the company should not be supported.
It is supposed to be a driving sim, after all. The should have expected a
wheel or two.
