** MF Working on RC2K patch **

by Kenneth Verbur » Tue, 23 Nov 1999 04:00:00

It seems a lot of people who own Voodoo3, Banshee and some other kind of 3D
cards are experiencing some problems with Rally Championship. This was
posted by one of the developers just seconds ago:

3, Banshee and Velocity 100
available. We will also be releasing a
replay cameras and other features.

An already good game getting better all the time!

We have opened the following thread on the forums at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
your suggestions for the patch in. If you haven't registered for the forums
yet, remember to do that at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
you'll be able to post right away.

Enjoy!

: An already good game getting better all the time!

Well, more like an "already good game getting patched to run properly on
the mainstream hardware that a substantial number of gamers own".  Not a
knock against Magnetic Fields, but the over-the-top hyping of this game
gets a bit stale after a while.

True, but for whatever their faults, the MF titles do get patched regularly
and often...something we can all be thankful to them for.

It would be great if the patches were not needed, but since they ALWAYS are,
at least they release them promptly and keep patching until the problems are
resolved.

I just hope all of RC2000's "problems" and "issues" are patchable!!!!  I
have a sneaky feeling that they won't be.

Marc.
