But will we be allowed to take the plate off at Talladega, and run it at 12
mph alone, 15 mph in the draft??

God, I hope not. That flash and eye-candy may look great the first couple
of times you see it, but it gets old really fast and, worse, increases the
amount of time pages take to load. Living in the UK, load times are
something you should definitely be concerned about.

And no flash please! Just the files! LOL!

I wouldn't bet on it Neo. I lived in the UK until a couple of months ago
and worked in telecomms. There are rumours and speculations, but nothing
concrete. Oftel (www.oftel.org) is looking into it, spurred in part by
reservations about the relatively high cost of e-commerce, but BT has stated
repeatedly that unmetered local calls are not a viable proposition.
Currently, Kingston-upon-Hull is the only part of the UK that has unmetered
local calls (6p per call) and you may be able to find better rates than BT
from your various of local and cable telecomms companies.
http://www.oftel.org/superhwy/intc1299.htm is an interesting document
produced by Oftel comparing the cost of using the internet in the UK with
various other countries.

In its current state The Pits seems quite dull and whilst its still
the best download resource on the web for racing sims, it could be
much better...
Neo
And per-minute call charges from BT are soon going to be a thing of
the past, my friend.

1) Flash/shockwave (Or other plugins. )
2) Resizing my browser
3) Popup windows. God, those are annoying.
4) Animations in general. I have a coworker who uses post-it to
cover animations on webpages.
5) Javascript (Due to it being unsafe, I wish to have it disabled.)
Please keep it nice and tidy. I think most visitors to the pits are
looking for information, not multimedia presentations. Leave the
flashy stuff to the sites thats no more than a commercial. (eg. cocacola)
