Question about Nascar Pro wheel and its parts

by Mika Takal » Wed, 05 Aug 1998 04:00:00

I have a Tm Nascar Pro wheel and pedals and i'm wondering if there is a
home-made fix for the (sorry for my english) center  zone of the wheel,
because there is not any resistance in the center and the wheel isn't
centering very well anymore. I haven't opened the wheel yet.
I have a couple of replacement springs for the pedals but I also ask if
someone found a good homemade fix for them too.

thanks,

Yeah, take the unit apart, and drill a small hole on the pedal and a
hole in the bottom of the unit, and install a "pull' spring (tension
spring) from a screen door, etc.   You will have to remove a section
of the re-enforcing ribs in the top of the base for the spring to
clear.

This ends all problems with the gas pedal.

I looked at the wheel slop you mention, but didn't worry about it
(didn't bother me) , but now I thinking about fixing it.
