1) Have you enabled force feedback?
2) What sound card are you using what settings have you set it too.

I don't disagree that a 500cc 2-stroke GP bike will pale in comparison to my
600cc 4 stroke or any AMA superbike for that matter. However, I have
ridden 2-stroke dirtbikes all my life and have also ridden the old Yamaha
RZ350 (2-stroke street bike) and I know they could have done better.....MUCH
better. At the very least they could have sampled a real engine instead of
the swarm of bees sound they chose. Even Motocross Madness had a better
2-stroke sound. At least it was a real sampled sound and had that true
2-stroke pipey sound to it. Oh well...maybe one of you guys will figure out
how to extract their sounds and add in our own new ones similar to how
people have reverse engineered GPL, N2, ICR2 etc etc.

Heheh. I've got a Katana with a worked GSXR motor in
it, running through a Kerker race pipe. I've got a handful of
other bikes also, both race & street. That Kat though is my
favorite, both to ride and listen to. An early GSXR motor
blasting through a Kerker or V & H race pipe is the prototypical
motorcycle sound. Very little on the planet sounds better.
Other than maybe a pack of similar beasts blasting down the
back straight. :)
