. . what it does not have is a means for easy League Play without a
really good internet connection.
I am in the testing phases of setting up a Community League Server, a
server that would be for any league to use if they needed a server. I
am thinking of a web site that has a schedule of times that leagues
would run and only League administrators could access. So if you have
a league and you are having problems hosting a race with 19 cars . . .
, you have thought about a league, but lack the ability to host X
number of cars . . . you can now do it!
The only thing is that Sundays from 7:30 am to 12:00PM (central
standard time US) would be off limits as this is when backbone
maintenance is done. I have most tracks and most will run on this
software-video only machine (Solitude, Lemas and the first Snetterton
do not work).
Is there any interest in this? Generate some discussion on this topic
and give me the ins and outs of such an endeavor. Depending on
interest and available time slots I may be able to put to P200s in
service for this task! (Keep that old computer stuff, I may need it)
:-) I could really use a couple of D3D PCI adapters that will work
with Win98 and GPLs D3D rasterizer.
