I bought it, and I think it is great. Seems to be a sort of hybrid
between the PC-NASCAR and the upcoming NASCAR2.

However, some problems that I'm wondering about- saving my OPTIONS
prefs doesn't seem to save my Mad Catz calibrations- am I doning
soemthing wrong, or is this simpy a characteristic of this version?

Also, there are a few minor bugs- sometimes I get skids-but-no-engine
sounds, other times engine-but-no-skid sound. exiting the track and
entering it again seems to cure it usually.

And has anybody else out there accidentally started their race with
their goddamn qualifying setup? Now that is irritating. SOrt of nice
for the first lap or two before you realize what is happening! THen it
hits you that you'll need to make a pit! End of Race!

Lastly, qualifying... a bit of a problem here. I've only really raced
Michigan, because I know it so well from ICR2. Anyway, Best I can
Qualify at 101%  opposition strength is something like 17th, maybe
15th. But in the race, I inevitably and easily win, even if I start in
21st, unless I make a stupid mistake. Any explanations for the
disparity? Am I merely using *that bad* a Qual setup? (I don't think
so!)

Anyway, I bought a Playstation because F1 by Psygnosis came out, was
very happy with my investment. Now this enhanced version of NASCAR is
out, and I am doubly happy... I'd advise all you sim people to look in
to the Playstation, and I hope it continues in this direction.

I have same problem.  Gotta exit and reenter to get engine sound.

I"ve run the PC version and now the Playstation version and find the
Playstation version better in realism.   Plus the two fantasy tracks
are a hoot.
