In general, games tend to ignore coprocessors since they usually have math
routines which are highly optimized and therefore outperform the
coprocessor at the cost of much less precision. Usually, the loss in
precision is taken for granted.
In short, using a coprocessor would probably not speed up the game. It
could make it more accurate (although that depends more on the algorithms
that are used than the precision of those algorithms).
