As someone who comes from the same planet at least (and with all of my times
within around 1% of the benchmark), I see you're quicker than I am at Monaco
and Mexico (0.5 S all together), but your Rouen time needs some work (3.5 S!
Problems with the hairpin by any chance?).
I won't mention "The German Track" :-(

That's about what I do. I'm more interested in being in some sort of control
than being fast. This circuit more than any other I learned to go quick by
racing rather than hot-lapping.
That's definitely flat, but I seem to turn-in very early (as in, Ohmigod,
I'm going to hit the kerb) and then have lots of understeer all the way
through the corner.
I know what you mean. Again, I brake early to make sure I'm in control.
I'm not brave enough to delete my PB's. -0.54 is far too close for that!

I guess driving around in the somewhat easier-to-handle Brabham opened
my eyes to driving lines and braking points. I've never really found
it easy to drive the Lotus the same way. Somehow the narrow torque band
just screams for braking too late and sliding through all the corners.
So take the Brabham for a spin. Atleast she knows how to behave
herself ;-)

You think the Brab is easier? I'm not sure about that. To me, it seems
narrower, and thus easier to spin. How did it give you a better insight to
lines and braking points?

With Brabham I don't feel like I can "push" the car through
corners as I do with the Lotus. I had to find a way to maintain
speed through the corners because I actually felt I was going
slow if I didn't. In essence I had to drive properly.. Somehow
I'm just not able to set my mind that way when I'm in a Lotus..
Weird..
