It's not an option in N2. It is going to be in the patch that we are going
to get some time in the future.

I imagine nobody answered because it's been a hot topic for months and
everyone is sick of it.
The answere is You Can't !
Maybe in the much awaited patch Ron.

No save game feature. Ya gotta finish the race. Once you finish the
race you are on during season mode it will save it. If not, try doing
a full install to see if this fixes the problem. I figured everyone
knew about the save game feature but I could be wrong.

But here's how !!!!!!!!!!
Just put your computer into carbonisation (Star Wars). wait 3months(or
more). When Papyrus will launch their patch, hire Princess Leia to free
your computer from the Evil hands of SIERRA the Hutt. Now you will get
caught by him and you will escape from the Sarlacc "Sierra" pit. And
you will see Boba"Papyrus"Fett (BobaFett???Where??) being eaten by it.
