It would be good to see JR around again, he provided me with some of my
first "organized" racing with GPL on his server, and I learned a lot about
simracing in general.....it still bums me out a bit that people only
remember Jack for GPaL not coming out, instead of the servers he ran for us.
GPal was due for release right around the time that WinVROC came out, which
effectively made GPaL obsolete before release, as I seem to recall. Maybe
some of the other historians know more,

I totally agree Ed.  Jack may have hyped Gpal a bit but he did many other
things for the community that many others havent.  I ran in his NTT series
and had a bunch of fun even though I was usually last.
