It is a bit in the early laps and even later on if one insists on right foot
braking. The whole key to this setup is to never really let go of the
throttle, to always apply the brake while having a little constant throttle
on and to have the brake on before one let's go of the throttle. It's also
obligatory to use the brake to check up instead of backing out of the
throttle. After some 300+ laps (practise + 100% race against the AI, I'm
pretty much used to it.

After a few laps it is really good coming off the corners and it stays that
way unless one, like myself, enjoys driving the car out of turn 4 sideways
(I'll do it properly in the race... was just getting the sliding out of my
system <g>). It'll "go away" pretty quickly doing that.

Really gotta be cool in the opening laps of a stint and then you can be good
to go for a tank full, which is about 65 laps? (haven't checked yet). 29's
are right out if you want to run that kind of distance, though.

I think you guys are overdriving the setup. I'm only doing mid 30's, but I
have no push and no problems. After the tires warm up, I think it's a great
setup. I've never had a tire wear problem here.

The key is not going too fast early on. By not hot lapping
the first 3 or 4 laps you will see a huge difference in tire wear
patterns and longevity.
