don't forget..it's a demo! there are settings
for physics, damage, etc. that you cant change in
the demo.  I think it has great promise.  The graphics
and the cars look incredible.  Makes Nascar 2 or 99
look antiquated.  The control isn't an easy as
you think either.  Try winning a race in the demo without
scratching up your car :)

>Ug, what a piece of shit...EA still can't make a serious racing game.

Don't think Papy's gonna lose sleep over this one.

I hope your right.
It would be good for compitition.
I was'nt to impressed with the demo but as you say its only a demo.
But as you and I both know graphics are not evrything but it helps.

Remember, this is a demo.  Both rear view mirror and telemetry will be in
the final along with other features missing from the demo.

This is the DEMO and based on that fact I think it shows promise to be
BETTER than any NASCAR offered to us prior to this one.  Graphics=GREAT;
Sound=The BEST ever; Control and FF=equal to and I believe BETTEr than any
so far.  Mario

>> I downloaded the demo last night, and deleted it after couple of short
>> races.  Have to agree with racer x there.  The game still feels more
>> like an arcade than a sim game.  With the exception of some of the
>> graphical and audio elements, there's nothing in the game that makes
>> me say, "damn, this is better than N2/NR99."  Actually, the demo shows
>> the game to have a lot of shortcomings, like the lack of mirror in the
>> in-car view and simple telemetry data like tire temperature.

Try winning a race in real life with a scratched up car; doesnt happen too
often at all in WC. I smell the need to insert coins into this game. Where
is the quarter slot<G>?
