NASCAR 2 Driver Picture

Has anyone had any success loading in a custom driver picture into
NASCAR 2.  I follow the directions in the readme file, but I still
have problems.  When I load the pcx file into the game all of my
colors get screwed up.  The readme file says that if this happens I
did not remap the picture correctly to the blank.pcx file.  I'm not
sure what remapping means.  All I did was cut and paste my picture
into the blank.pcx file and save it as t_player.pcx.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Thanks,

Scott

In Paint Shop Pro open the Blank.pcx.  From the Colors menu, save the
palette.  Now open the picture you want to cut and paste in.  Go back
to the Colors menu and load the palette you just saved (the colors may
change slightly).  You should then be able to cut and paste it into the
blank.pcx without getting the messed up colors when you import it.
