Let me tell you what I am nowhere near 'good enough to' race online,
but I am there! I figure I will go to a race and qualify and see how I
did compared to the others. I went to my first Glen race and qualified
a good 1:12 (for me that is!) and when the race was about to start I
went to see what I placed and I was 9th . . . no problem seem to start
last lots. Then I noticed that everyone else was 1:06:?? to 1:06:?? I
figured I had better bail, or I was going to be the cause of much pain
in that race. I have raced at Monza and have had fun racing with the
slower guys for 4th! So after 3 online races in my career I have a 4th
place finish, maybe not the greatest, but its mine!
I have had GPL for over a year, but only had a puter it would really
run on for about 6 months. I have only just started to really race.

BTW there are plenty of nice people online. I figured the first time I
whacked someone I was going to see bunches of *&%%&* yelling, but most
people are really cool and are not like they are if you do something
wrong in a real car (you know 'road rage') I find that GPL helps me
lots in this area alone. Look up BikKat if you are ever on Vroc I love
to have a race!
