rec.autos.simulators

I just got CPR,, applied the patch and am using the triglide.dll. Just
wondering if others get similar frame rates. Its basically okay but
seems like it could be a bit faster. My system:

AMD K6 233 running 225 at 3x75  
Shuttle Hot 603 MB
Diamond Viper 330 PCI
Creative 12 MB Voodoo2
128 megs ram
ensoniq pci sound card,

I have the graphics options on 640 x 480
all graphic options on except car shadows
using 3dfx setting (Direct 3d is slower by about 3 to 5 FPS)

I'm getting about 20 to 25 frames per second on the two tracks I've
been practicing on (St. Louis and Mid Ohio) without a lot of other
cars in the view.

How about you? Anyone with a similar system to offer a comparison?

Just for you to compare with me, this is my system with a consistant running
of 22-31fps with the clipping plane at 31fps.
My System:

P233MMX running 250mhz at 3 x 83
Asus TXP4 MOtherboard
Diamond Stealth 3D 3000 Pro
Diamond Monster 3D II (Voodoo2) 8mb
128 SDRAM
Sound Blaster 64 Value

I am running under the Direct 3d graphic option and still yet to try out the
Glide option.
