Much of the loudest crying is in League races.  I havent run but maybe 5-10
pickups since N3 and they arent nearly as bad for the simple fact that I
dont practice for pickups and I "EXPECT" that type of BS in a pickup race.

Get this.  I was at a LAN event a couple years ago battling for the lead
with just a few to go.  The guy I was racing is an admin for a very well
known "invitation only" series that I made over $200 in donations to.
Anyway going into T1 at atlanta he was on my outside but behind.  I never
felt anything but boy he sure cryed like I kilt his mommy or something.
Anyway a few weeks later during an Indy league race I get caught up in a big
mess going into T1, I had zero to do with it, just running in the back (as
usual) and cant get woed down and touch the guy in front of me.  Anyway said
admin decides Im at fault and suspends me.  5 guys said they would back me
but none did.  My invite went away after that hehe.  Yeah league races are
just peachy...

N2003 is the only sim that really gives me the feeling of driving a car in the
FF other than F12002, and it's still better than F12002's IMHO.

Developers often have great intentions that are squashed by the
financial producers.  The flight sim arena is rife with excellant products
that never made it to market because of business decisions

Could ya share your Profiler/NR2003 settings Dan?  Ive tried backwards and
forwards but it still feels wrong in N2003.  If I get to the point where
there isnt an oscillation then there is literally no FF efffect.

I may not have ever driven a stocker but Ive been driving cars for 20+ years
so it's ez to tell if it feels right or wrong.  GTR just feels right.  Papy
sims seems to have a semi canned spin once you reach a certain point.  GTR
you can still catch it (like a real car).  Just my 2 cents..

It's very realistic, then. You get that in real life (TM) too ;-)

I feel like I'm filling out Mortgage Paperwork whenever I set up a wheel on
an EA Sim...

> The controllers are pretty easy to setup if you use a wheel.

> Set all the axis to 50%.
> Set all the deadzones to 0%.
> Turn off all the digital assists (speed-sensitive steering, etc).

> The above is the same as setting a papy sim to 100% linear.
