any t2 custom setups or installations?

by Jeff Jon » Mon, 11 May 1998 04:00:00

I'm having trouble setting up my T2 steering wheel and pedals so as to
be comfortable for me.   Are there any ideas regarding how to keep the
pedals from  slipping on the carpet under my computer desk?  Also, my
steering wheel always "comes loose" from my desk..  The sucktion cups
don't stick for any length of time.  Are there any good desks that I
should purchase or something.  Thanks, Jeff

To keep my pedals in place on the floor, I cut a 1x4 to proper length and
put it on the floor between the pedals and the wall.
As far as the suction cups, I would spit on the front cups before clamping
on the desk, and it did a good job of keeping them from coming loose during
a race.

I have a One Inch notebook binder sitting behind my pedal unit.  that
keeps the pedals from slipping away and also limits the full range of travel
for the springs.  The T2 is now over a year old and I'm on my original pedal
springs.
