GP2: T2 setups anyone?

by Eva » Thu, 01 Aug 1996 04:00:00

I was wondering if anyone had a collection (or even one or
two for that matter) of decent setups that they're using with the T2.
I'm certainly new at the whole F1 thing, but I'm consistently 8+
seconds slower than *any* of the times I've seen on here.  Anybody
have any advice (or setups) for a newbie with a T2?  Thanks!

I can offer sympathy - I am ***as well! I only had F1GP for a few
weeks but did manage to get times close to those of the AI cars on
rookie level. I am rather disappointed that I am so much further off
the pace in GP2.

This is probably a reflection of the realism of the game because I
have never driven a four wheeled vehical IRL (though I did have a
motorbike for a year.)

To avoid too much ego damage I am restricting myself to practicing
alone on circuits for a while in the hope that I can get it sussed
out. It seems *very* easy to lock brakes coming into corners (I use a
T2 BTW.)

I'd say.. keep trying

I also started like ***with T2.. However since day 0 I play with NO auto
brakes (its not playing then), no autosteering help (that REALLY spoils all)..

and now I just won my first race, 1st place, doing around 4 seconds better in
qualif than anyone..

Trust me, setup the car COUNTS.. And don't just for the setups on the
internet.. find your own.

I hated the one given for Germany, not enough rear wing for me (the car kept
flying on straights!).. also train train train..

Good luck
Bravo MPS, excellent game.
