GP3 - Force Feedback with Microsoft Wheel?

Anyone know how to get this working? It's selected in options, and the
FF light on the wheel is on, but there are no FF effects when I drive.
And suggestions?

Why not go to http://www.bhmotorsports.com/ and get the MSFF wheel set
up from the GP3 utilities section. Worked for me and saves having to
work out how the hell to do it on that crappy wheel set up page.

Does your wheel pull to the left when turning left with the MSFF wheel ?

Yes, it's like they've got the feedback in the wrong direction! The
only thing I've found that helps is to lower the feedback level so that
it's not quite so annoying.

Make sure that the "Force x axis to z axis" setting is
turned OFF!!!

It screws up the FF on my system.

GP3 - Force Feedback with Microsoft Wheel?

It seems to work with "map Y axis forces to X axis", but these are the
wrong forces it seems! When I take a turn, it always pushes in the
same direction, so when I turn right it's ok, and if I turn left it
just pushes me more to the left!!
So it seems more for a joystick something. No forces in the X axes.
This calls for an immediate patch. Well, how on Earth could they have
overlooked something like this. What the hell were they testing this
baby with???
Ruud van Gaal
bla bla bla at the end read all about it signature etc

I'm telling you that the same thing happened to
me.  With the "Y to X" box checked, the wheel
always wanted to pull to the left, thought turning
right was fine.  Unchecking the box fixes that.

Thanx! That was the problem.

FF is pretty sweet. Not GPL-sweet, but it's up there in second place
with Viper Racing. It really adds to the feeling of control and
immersion.

For me I get no force at all if it's turned off. Works fine with it on
though.

Wow, which wheel is that? My MSFF gets NO FF when I turned 'map forces
from Y to X' on. :(

Strangely, it's the one game where it actually feels better on the MS
wheel than my Logitech *maybe because the MS forces are stronger?).
For me it only worked with the 'map forces from Y to X' checked (and
of course FF turned on in the game).

It does seem, like the rest of the controller input, to be a part of
the game they did little testing on. A lot of people are having
different problems. It needs a patch.

Don't you get the effect where the wheel always pulls to the same
side? I mean when you steer left, it just pulls you more to the left?
(in that case, steering right is more or less fine)
