Has anyone heard when GPL will be released ?
Electronics Boutique ( www.ebworld.com ) has had it listed as this for
months now.. even when Sierra was telling us early August! (So I tend to
believe them, as Sierra now says early October.) Babages
www.gamelord.com/comesoon.html ) has it listed for Ocober 20th.
October just can't get here fast enough!
Here's a tip for those who are planning a computer upgrade for GPL: WAIT!!
Wait 'till like the first week in October - I bought my computer back in
February because I thought the game was coming out in "early Spring" (that
was the word from Sierra). I don't really play too many games on the
computer, so going out and buying the best equipment back then was kind of a
waste of time. (Bought a Viper 330 AGP for a start - wanted to get 3Dfx
later - but that cost me $275 CAN back then. I could pick one up today for
$125).. So wait till just before the game comes out, then buy everything you
need at a lower price than today's!
