Adam or anyone,

I dont know if you have answers for these or not, but I thought I'd ask.

After running the Demo for many hours now(great demo), I am just curious
how you are doing the random weather changes for NASCAR2 now that we
have clouds.

1. What kind of weather changes will we see?
2. Will there be any rain conditions on races?
3. Will the clouds above darken at all?

From previous snapshots of NASCAR, we saw the sun reflect through the
window of one race. It will be exciting to see how you do the time of
day to change the sun angles while racing(if this is included in final)

This last question is kind of dream question from my comments above but
Ill ask it anyway.

4. Will we be able to set the time of day the race is starting?

Thanks,

Dave Thayer

Hi Dave...the weather will pretty much work as it did in NASCAR 1.  No
rain, but the sky texture will change if it is a cloudy day.  No moving
weather, clouds, etc.

That's great!! Actually it requires only some extra textures
and a couple of if()s. But still that has been one of the
the drawbacks in earlier Papyrus products, ie the lack of attention
to detail.
It seems that with N2 Papyrus is making a good ol' leap in that
department.

Keep up the good work, and keep out the bugs!:)

Actually it would take a lot more than that!  If you have the cloud
cover over in turns 3 and 4, the track temperature at that spot drops,
thereby affecting the car's handling in that corner, while the rest of
the track is a different temperature.  You might have a good race car,
then there comes the cloud cover, and wham, you're tight!
