Rally Championship-Wheel Help

by Paul Jage » Sat, 20 Nov 1999 04:00:00

Just bought Rally Championship and am having a ball. But I have one problem
I have been unable to resolve.
I have a MSFF wheel and pedals, but the latter refuse to work independently.
I have set them up within MS own software, and used the 'wheel and three
axis' option in the game. Still no luck though. Instead, when I enter the
game, the car is already revving, the pedals have been swapped over (left
becomes accelerator, while right is brake), and after a short period of time
the car keeps moving without me touching the pedals at all. I have also
noticed that within the games controller options, I only receive one '3 axis
plus wheel' option, while the manual lists 3 different ones that should be
available.
If I simply use the wheel and two axis option then all is well, but I would
love to have separate pedals if possible.

If it is of use, the system I have is a P2 450, with 256mb ram, 2x12mb 3dfx
Monster cards.
Any help appreciated, and if any one needs more information in order to
resolve this then ask away .
