To all Nascar2 enthusiasts:
Is it always best to have the CAMBER set so the temps are even across
the tire? In other words..Can a cars handling be improved by tweaking
the CAMBER, even if the temps are uneven? Thanks for any input,
Mick

The whole idea for tweaking any setup is to ge tthe tire temps
even across the whole tire. If you *NEED* to adjust camber to do
this, then adjust away :-) I needed to use it for ICR alot. But so far
I haven't done much with camber in N2. If your outer or inner tire
temps are off, then you need a camber adjustment.

: Actually, you'll find you can run a tad bit faster by making your right
: front a little bit hotter than the middle and outer temps. This tip is
: in the upcoming N2 video by Bobby Labonte.
I'll throw in a couple of pennies: Do what ever you need to do to get
through the tough corners/turns that does not wear out your tires.
However, I find that the first approach is to get a good neutral setup.
This includes getting good even tire temps across the tire. Now you can
start playing with camber if you need it to help you make those
difficult turns. Try pushing the car real hard into the turns and watch
the tire temps. This will indicate whether you need to mess with the
camber and which direction to head for. The main problem I've seen with
moving the camber away from a good neutral setting, is that any future
minor chassis change or tire pressure change usually alters the effects
of the camber dramatically. So make sure you have a good solid setup
before you start messing too much with camber. Else you will find
yourself in the garage more than on the track...
