CH Virtual Pilot Pro v. F1

After seeing the CH Virtual Pilot Pro for the first time today, I wonder
whether it would make a good wheel.  It has plenty of switches and 2 hats
on the wheel.  Does anyone have any experience with this in racing contexts?

Also, would I be able to use the VPP with the Thrustmaster RCS I already
have or should I just get the T1 (and its pedals)...?  Or for maximum
wallet impact, get the VPP and CH Pro Pedals?  [I think the extreme
products $500 package mentioned here recently is a bit too much. :)]

Any suggestions are truly appreciated and thanked for in advance!

I have a CH Virtual Pilot and it works perfectly....For the $$ I think its
a good buy, but I'm sure the T1 is a step up both in performance and $$.
