Heads up!

For those still looking for a retail copy:

Fellow on eBay is selling them at a reasonable starting price ($12.99
US). Shipping is $7.50ea. (Do a search on "F1 C" on eBay to see the
list.)

He says these are versions made for China (Hong Kong) but they come
with English menus and instructions as well.

I have no experience with this fellow, but I know there is still some
demand out there and thought I would pass it along.

I just saw it on bhmotorsports.com for $17.99 I think. It was in the
sidebar, but I'm sure its on their shop. Which I think is just an amazon
referrer thing..

Which, unfortunately, is sold out, just like everywhere else.   I got so
e***d seeing that that I clicked through to get it, only to find the
same 'ol story...

find it.. then you should feel free to download it :)

Some folks are willing to pay to get the retail fluff, box, manual,
etc.  Especially when it's reasonably price (i.e.  costs no more than
it originally did in the stores when it was released). Plus, they feel
better knowing it's a legal copy.

Thank you for the link! This is the first retail outlet that has listed it
as in stock in the U.S. in months (and I've been looking everywhere).  Don't
know if the store is legit or if they really have copies, but I went ahead
and placed an order......I'll keep my fingers crossed.

You might give Electronics Boutique a call.  My local EB Games (Gilroy Ca)
had 3 copies as of last week.

I think F1C was sold out at the local EB and Software Etc. last Dec.
I looked there one day and they had two copies, then the next day they
were gone.

Somebody said Best Buy had it at one time, but I never saw it at the
local one, here, although I don't shop there much.

The local CompUSA had a few copies and they've been long gone, since
last year some time.

However, I did get my copy of NR2003 at the local CompUSA, which
included the bonus Jimmie Johnson car, for only $9.99. :)

Just thought I would report that this offer appears to be legit.  I
ordered a copy from him and paid via Paypal. Got the CD in less than a
week.

It's an authentic EA game disc, not a bootleg copy. Has the US English
version of the game on the disc and comes with an authentic CD key.  I
installed F1C and ran it without a hitch.

No box or manual is included, though, to reduce his shipping costs.
Otherwise, you can't beat the price, unless you're lucky enough to
find a copy left in a store somewhere.
