I got GPPerf for F1GP but it doesn't work. I can  see the program being resident in  my memory but it has no effect in the game
itself. For anyones information, I use F1GP from a  CD-ROM, version 1.05.

Any suggestions welcome!!

Thx
Fred

Did you get the message saying "GPPerf active" or something like that
as the game starts, before the title pages come up?

Did you read the instructions carefully ?You have to create a RAMdrive on which
the program saves the data(HD would be to slow)and do other things as well...If
you don't create a RAMdrive, nothing's saved !

Jo,

PMJI, but I don't bother creating a RAMdrive.  I'm using Win95 and have
F1GP and all its utilities running in a full screen DOS session at 25fps
on my 486dx4/100.  The disks I have are actually fairly slow as disks go,
but even at 25fps I don't notice any pause in the frame rate - my CPU % in
F1GP is something like 40% if I remember rightly.  I suspect the Win95
disk cache is helping substantially, however.

Mike.
