For those that may have issues with the ZIP file or that could not load the
track, I have rebuilt the ZIP file with WinZip.  It seems some ZIP programs
have issues with XP created ZIP files.

If you are still having problems please send us an email at

DLing it now!  I have been wishing for a track like this for quite
awhile ("high-speed road course")-drool.  8-):::::
I noticed that it had plates enabled-the heck with that!  I'm not
about to drive a course like this with any steekin' plates!  At any
rate I appreciate it.

DL'ed and installed just fine here - nice job!  One thing to note is that
the default chassis type leaves you with the tire stagger and left-pull
intended for ovals.  Not the best for negotiating high-speed right turns...
;-)

True, but some experimenting (with plates turned OFF) revealed to
me that it is better to go with the stagger, as the time you lose in turn 3
(the right hander) is more than made up for by what you gain with all
those steep lefties.  I used a tweaked Michigan setup.  But what do I
know-but the track is a blast to drive-thanks Schooner!

Steve - The chassis issue and use of plates was really a best guess and
judgement call by Richard the designer as well as those of use that had been
testing it.  Since it is such a large high speed track we decided this gave
the best fit for good overall racing.  Some of the other types are not as
well suited to higher banked turns and speeds.  Its only the first release
so hopefully overtime with more feedback we can tweak it and make it even
better.

One of the fun things with this track that I find is in designing the setup.
We have found that people can run different speeds at different areas by a
large margin and still end up with similar lap times so it becomes a
balancing act or a trade off on where you want the best handling and speed.

Glad people like the track so far and thanks for all the comments.

After messing with different chassis, I think you're right about the default
type promoting the best online racing.  The left handers do dominate the
track so the stagger's not that big a deal, and the plates should keep it
tight.

Thanks again for the track!

There was no path included with the zip file, if you created the
subdirectory it worked fine.  The only problem is that the track
does not work with N2002.   :(

Yes sorry the first ZIP file was missing the path and has been corrected in
the current version that is posted.  The track has only been tested with
NR2003 as that was the intended platform for its release.

The no plate version of CORL Raceway is now available on the track website -
http://www.schoonersolutions.com/corl/corlraceway

This track installs in a separate folder so that you can run both versions.
The no plate track will show in the track and online listing as "CORL NP".
The plated version is called "CORL"

Thanks again to Richard "Leatherfoot" Schwar for his hard work in building
this track for CORL.
