The 2005.1 racing season will mark the 6th weekly points racing season for
CORL. The season is set to kick-off on Nov 24 2004.

Open to Canadians 18 and older.

The 2005.1 season will be the first of 3 under the new CORL yearly racing
structure. Each year will now have 3 full racing seasons split up approx as
follows:
2005.1 - Nov 2004 - Feb 2005
2005.2 - Apr 2005 - Jul 2005
2005.3 - Aug 2005 - Oct 2005

Each season will be made up of 12 races over 12 tracks, of which the top 10
will count towards the points title in each of the 3 weekly racing series.
Fees will be $20 per season or $50 for the full year. New members to CORL
will get their first season for free.

The season will feature the following weekday series:
Sportsman Series

CUP Fixed Setups
35% Race, Fixed Weather, Yellows, Realistic Damage

Challenge Truck Series

CTS Open Setups
40% Race, Fixed Weather, Yellows, Realistic Damage

Canadian Pro Cup Series

CUP Open Setups
*** - No Aids, Open Views
40% Race, Fixed Weather, Yellows, Realistic Damage

Points are awarded for all scheduled series events.
The top 10 of 12 races will count towards the championship.
Standard NASCAR Winston Cup points system will be used for all series.
An additional 5 bonus points will be awarded to the pole winner for a each
race.
In the event of a tie, championships will be determined by most wins,
seconds, thirds and so on until a tie is broken.
