Hi, I have a V3 3000 and I cant get higher than 800 x 600 resolutions
in Viper Racing. 1024x768 worked fine on my SLI. Does anyone know how
to fix this? Thanks

Luke

specs

Viper Racing 1.1
V3 3000 with latest drivers
Direct X 7

the rest shouldn't matter

You have to download a patch.

There is a patch for 1024x768 on a Voodoo3, but it is not put out by
Sierra. If you call Sierra Tech Support, they will tell you where you can
download it. That's where I got the info from, but I forgot where the site
is and the patch doc doesn't say. I think it was put out by MGI, the
developer. Don't know if they have a site, but it might be worth a try
looking for one before you drop a dime to call Sierra. I've been using it
for several months. Works fine, no problems.

Why do you need a patch? Mine runs great on a V3 3000 with no patch. What
does the patch do?

Todd
