GP1 wheel help please

Hi I just got a GP1 wheel and it seems to be near impossible to turn its so
tight. I opened it up thinking I would just change to a lighter bungee but
even with the bungee off its still tight. I sprayed some TriFlo in all
joints and bearing surfaces and it didnt help. I wonder if any of you have
had this problem and know the fix? Thanks in advance, Mike

Mike,
I've had mine for over 6 months and it feels the same as the day I bought it.
You got a lemon...take it back and get another one, you will not be unhappy!

Just use the handweights that was included ind the box.    ;-)

Nahhh.   after some use, mine got a bit lighter.

But I still use The Force when applying opposite lock.  But I think
that has more to do with my driving style ....  :-)

Regards

I had the exact same problem with mine. I had to remove the nylon bushing and
sand it down. Just roughened it up and took a fraction off. Been great ever
since.

Thanks Bill and all who replied. Just so happens Bill thats just what I did
and it workes great now!! I used a Dremal tool and after taking a bit off
of the nylon its fine and I like it. Having come from a flight stick its
nice to still drive with just ny hands and yet have more control than with
the J stick. Overall yes quality is not great but for this price well its
fine ;-)  aloha, Mike
