F1RS - Any black sky solutions?

by Dean » Sun, 28 Dec 1997 04:00:00

Has any one heard of or discovered a solution to the black sky problem
(happens on Melbourne and Argentina at least when you quit one session and
re-enter it). I was hoping the 2 patches might have solved it but no luck. I
do know it only happens when you have variable weather but in expert mode
you can't alter the weather to sunny only.

Thanks in advance.

No solution yet! It's not just Melbourne and Argentina. In my Championship
run so far, Melbourne was OK, but Brazil, Argentina, and Nurburgring were
totally in the dark! Thinks went back to normal at Imola, and everything is
OK at Monaco!
Maybe the next patch?

How are you doing so far in the championship? Which level are you
running? And which car?

I run in level 2 (McLaren) and won the first 3 races. At the Nurburgring
it was a second place just 7 seconds behind Hill. I could have won that
one but lost my nose two times...

What _really_ makes the championship easy is having the ABS and
traction control turned 0n - turn 'em off and then see how "easy" it
is... :-)

Cheers!

Absolutely  John, too many people out there are complaining this game is
too easy at Ace, lapping everyone at Monte Carlo. To you guys : go out
there and win with no aids, hell, even score points, then you are worthy
of respect. To win in the wet sans aids...

Probably ex keyboard GP2 geeks! For those running at Ace level with
aids - YOU ARE PITIFUL!
