:-)  Been there, done that, Chuck.    Futile excercise.  My wife won't go.
Plus, I have no JOB in Boston.
'Fraid I have to shut it down and hope the NRL is a bunch cheaper.   If not, I
will probably leave it to the rich folks to play.

I backed down and joined an internet racing league.  Not nearly as much fun,
but I am competing.    The way I've started looking at it is this:  I'd like
to fly an airplane (real), or an ultralight, go to one of those racing
schools, (or that flight school that lets you fly an F14), or LOTS of
fun things.   But since they cost so much that only people with money
can do it, I will just have to let them.

Sadly, it's in the same realm.

Now before anyone thinks I'm going to slam the NRL or Hawaii, I'm not.
I love it.   I know they (Papy/Sierra) are going to make it as "affordable
as possible".    I have to prepare myself for the possibility that it might
not get affordable enough for me.   "Affordable" means a different for each
person.   For some, F14 flight school is affordable.   (or one of those new
Harleys - *sheesh*)

Heck, anyone can fly an F14. How about pulling 9 g's in a MIG 25 or MIG
29.

the more money you have the faster you go. Indycar, the more money you have the faster
you go.  ECT............

Papyrus nascar is so far the cheapest form of racing I can find. The more money thing
here only aplies to the amount of practice you get with human oponents. I currently have
a $200.00 doller phone bill (used to be $20.00).

I thought that this would be the form of racing that it wouldn't mater how much money
you had you could still aford it. Apairently I'm wrong with this as well.  :-(
