Now and then, GPL ignores the Escape-Key, while other keys (F2, Alt-F)
work, and driving is also possible. Yesterday, I had another keyboard
at hand, and I "hot-plugged" it in to check if the keyboard is the
problem.
Same results, no ESC accepted.
How do I get out of the car then? In training mode, the car is not
auto-retired after a standstill of some time.

Does this problem occur only on my system, or on others also?

I got the same problem the other day and figured out that it was caused by
the enabled shift-lock on my keyboard. Maybe I had hit that key in the
heat of the battle on the track or something ;-) Well, after unlocking,
the Esc-key was pretty ok.
