Why do people call this a bug?  How many times have you seen a car stick to
the wall at Darlington?  A bunch!  It's a feature that imitates reality...

Yep, its annoying as hell, but real. When you have an object sliding
into an object at 200 mph there tends to be a lot of heat and
friction.
This causing a lot of "sticking"

Heh!  Probably for the same reason people say GP2 has "canned spins".  Some
folks have no talent and/or patience so they start making excuses.

Ever notice when you turn the wheel, the tires stick out a bit.
If the car is up against the wall, the tires can't turn left/right.
I don't think heat has much to do with it.
