Viper Racing Dual Axis? Tell me please!

I have the Nascar Pro Racing wheel, and I run GPL fine on separate axis, but
I can't seem to get Viper to race like that. It pisses me off...so if anyone
knows how, could you please provide a step by step explanation?

Viper racing will accept either dual or split axis.  I choose which one I
want in the game controllers control panel/ properties.  I'm using a
Logitech Formula Force USB.
