GPL Starting Grid Hack???

Hi...Is there a hack out there to modify one's position on the starting grid
without qualifying? It's nice to set up a quick race but sometimes I do not
have the patience to start in the back.

Why bother? This isn't modern F1 - you can *overtake*! ;-)

_You_ may be able to - some of us can overtake Jacky Ickx if and only
if he's sustained car damage.  Believe me, there's more overtaking in
modern F1 than in my GPL races.  Now being overtaken, there's a lot of
that.

Open track.ini in the tracks folder (sierra/gpl/tracks/...)

Scroll down until the grid parameters,

Swop the grid 0 param with the grid 19 param.

Pole will start 20th, you will start 1st.

Personally, I hardly ever bother with qualifying - my starts are so
abysmal that I end up in much the same place at the end of the first
lap, whether I've started from pole or 8th...

You have problems at the start with that "handicap"? Wow! Will I ever
learn how to start competitively? :(
