The next step would bring in an NFL team and play football in the
Autodome. Humm..
Whats the seating capacity at Bristol anyway?

Papyrus has said repeatedly that NASCAR2 will be based on the 1996 WC season.
Since both races at Bristol were on concrete this year, you shouldn't expect
Papyrus to change the track color to asphalt.

...at least, not until the NASCAR2 Track Pack comes out.  :-)

actually it wont be fast atleast i dont think.  see when it was ashault
the track had less grip so cars werent as fast in the corners there.
also it was more expensive for ashault cause remember how it kept tearing
up every other race.  correct me if im wrong it has not been redone since
concrete was put down.  i think they did sanding on it that was it..

I didn't think it was possible either and the jury IS still out.  However
a fellow on R.A.S.N. mentioned the possibility of an inflatable roof.
apparently there's a partially covered dome (?) in Canada that uses this
method.  It will be interesting to find out what, if anything, is done.

It is possible to have a fully inclosed building with a track inside.
There are already a few where they race migits and sprints. Thre would
definately need to be a bigger air exchange systm to suck out the
fumes, and some kind of noise dampining. But it is possible, and has
been done.

I know SkyDome in Toronto is retractable, but that thing cost a LOT of money.
The cost to have a retractable dome to cover Bristol would be staggering.

Even if they can get a BristolDome in place, what kind of air circulation
system would be used to get all of the carbon monoxide out of there?

Right... :-)   Then, while the lines are still visible on the infield,
they'll cover it in dirt and run a supercross series followed by monster
trucks the next weekend!
;-)
What a country!
