Logitech G25 duty cycle for non-compatible games

When using the G25 with non-compatible games you can go into the
profiler settings window and assign keystrokes to buttons etc. I've
done this with steering and throttle/brake for use on GTA San Andreas,
but there is no duty cycle associated with this.

What I mean here by "duty cycle" is that usually with the keyboard, if
you don't want to turn full lock, the best thing to do is press the
direction key many times up/down. Windows does something similar when
using a text editor, where you can set the repeat rate (the computer
only knows when the key is down or up, and the software regulates the
repeat). If the logitech software did this with the repeat rate varied
depending on how much the wheel/pedal was turned/depressed then the
controller would work realistically. I'm sure this is a very easy
thing to do and am surprised that for such an otherwise ophisticate
piece of machinery, this option is not offered.

Is there maybe a patch for this, or does someone have the knowledge to
write one?

Maybe there is something else I'm missing?

Help if you can - Many thanks.
