Hi,
The one glaring problem with the AI I've seen so far is at
Talladega.  On the first lap, when you go into turn 3, all the AI cars
sslow down suddenly, you can pass about 10-15 cars if you go up high,
but if you go down low, you'll wreck about 10-15 cars!

Certainly agree with you on the last statement.  The AI guys are
horrible when it comes to dealing with lapped traffic (most of the
time).  However, I haven't "raced" enough to know whether this is
because their tires are going.  Since they usually start hitting heavy
traffic towards the end of their pit window.  Or if it's just cuz they
aren't being agressive enough.

That's because they used Earnhardt AI.

No, I haven't seen this. I spent a lot of time sitting around in the pits
checking out the mirrors in the beta and never saw this happen. That
reminds me, someone reported to me that an AI car had stolen his pit stall
during a modem race. Has anyone else seen this?

I think I remember this happening to me in NASCAR 1 also.  I know it
will happen in IndyCar 2.  I felt I deserved it for ***-necking, and
got a good laugh out of it. :-)

I went down pit row to look at the new cars that I imported into NC2
at a snails pace, 10 or 15 mph and the same thing happens. You get
plowed right in the butt. I was on the inside lane at one of the
tracks and the same thing happens there also.

Here is an idea for the Atlanta pit bugs.  Make a replay file and send
it to Papyrus.
let them see what is happening.  Same thing for the funny lines cars take
at different tracks.  Make a replay, include a text file describing your
bug and send it to Papyrus.  Who knows, it can't hurt

Me Too!  I was driving the wrong way on the track in reverse swerving wildly
and the other cars hit me... we really need to get this fixed.  hahahahahahaha
