Nascar 1 Track Pack

by Buddy Webe » Sun, 20 Apr 1997 04:00:00

I'm looking for the Track Pack for Nascar 1.  I've had the original CD for
over a year but did not rally enjoy it until I started racing over the
modem with a friend.

I've tried Seirra-on-line and no longer have it in stock and will not
produce any more.  I've tried the local Best Buy's & CompUSA and no luck as
well.

Anybody know where I can pick it up at?  Anybody out there who is into N2
and wants to get rid of it?

E-mail me and let me know.....thanks in advance!

Occasionally I see it show up at our local Wal-Mart.  You might try one
near you or see if they can order it from a warehouse.  Goodluck!

They dont sell it anymore as a track pack...Just like if you want
ICR1, you buy it as a "Sierra Original" (Sierra Original my a*s) and
get EVERY track in one.  The track pack now comes with the game
(golldangit, I want my 40 bucks back...).  Another way Sierra has
over-commercialized Papyrus.

My suggestion would be to pick up another copy of Nascar with the track
pack included. I don't know where you are but here in Toronto you can get
it for $24.00 CDN (thats about $5.00 U.S.) ;-)

P.S. Just kidding about the U.S. price it should be $ 7.50 U.S.

You might already know this...BUT... The newer Nascar1 pkgs come
complete WITH the 'Track Pack' tracks included.

I don't know what you intended to pay for the Track Pack alone, but you
might be able to find Nascar1 discounted somewhere for about the same
price as what the Track Pack would cost. Just make sure you check the
box to see that you are getting the extra tracks.

Good Luck,
Alan

Apparently not all Best Buy's prices are the same...I just saw it at the
Greenwood, IN store for 29.95 (Sun. April 20th)...Also saw it at a
Computer show in Indy today for the same price.

Doesn't the current version of Nascar 1 include all the extra tracks?
I've seen it for less than $20 at Best Buy and Comp USA.  Probably
about the same amount you would spend on the track pack alone.

If you are looking fr the nascar track pack you better buy the white
label version of Nascar 1 (it only costs around the $10-$15 and features
the extra tracks and a paintkit (I on't know what was included in to the
original version)
