LFS Strange frame rates

Ok, this is a bit odd.  In LFS I have all eye candy turned up to the max.
I'm racing with 3 AI drivers. My lowest frame rates are about 37. Now, I
turn on full FSAA and my frame rates are the same. How do they do that?
Video card is MSI 4400 oc'd to 675/325 and cpu is P4 at over 2500.

Neither FSAA nor Anisotropic Filering work at all with LFS...yet.  Thus no
change in image or FPS.

I thought so too, running at 12X9 until I turned it off with RivaTuner and
the image and FPS were identical.  So I tried messing with some other
settings to see what happened.  Try dropping your resolution in-game and
watch the jaggies show up, even with the FSAA at 4XS.

LFS Strange frame rates

Interesting; on mine, going out of the game to RivaTuner and changing AA
and/or AF settings has no effect whatsoever in-game.  I posted this on the
official forum and was not the only one to see this, so I wonder what the
deal is.  Changes made in RivaTuner work with other games, but not this one.
(Leadtek Ti 4400 with 30.82 whql drivers on Win 98SE)

A puzzler....

LFS Strange frame rates

Forget the previous: just found out my RivaTuner 2.0, rc 10.2 wasn't working
with the 30.82 WHQL NVidia Win 98SE drivers.  RivaTuner 2.0, r.c. 11.1 does,
at least to some degree.  Still having some issues, but it's the 30.82's and
not LFS... :-(
