Hi,

Why don't i see yellow flags in CART ?? People are spinning left right
and centre and then stay standing up against the wall and WHAM i slam
them coming round the corner.

Is this something to do with the crash damage option ??

Cheers

This is one of the realistic "features" the MSCART development team
decided to leave out. They also decided to leave out any decent AI,
frame rate, or control, as well.  Oh well, it still does "Push the
Limits of Racing Reality". Where it pushed them I'm not sure. Must
have fallen off the CD :)

Lack of yellows is disappointing, but the patch will address the AI, the
frame rate (my is fine as-is), and add to the control options (null zone).

Actually the feel of the car going around the track is quite good. You
guys are having a field day busting on CPR but I am having a ball on
the ovals. Sure you can lap the field in Michigan twice within 25 laps
with the AI set to intermediate (with the stock setup). But for me it is
*FUN*. Frankly I as surprised as anyone to even be able to say that.
But it's the truth. Since I generally don't have 3-4 hours for a full race
anyway, I just do 15% races and start in the rear. Quite fun driving
through the traffic. I have noticed that the AI will give way in the
corners.
So they are lame at certain driving and good at others. If the patch
fixes it I'll be happy.

The patch does fix the AI. The difference is night and day.
