Just got a second Voodoo2 (monster) but no SLI cable (have send away for it
over the net god knows how long that will take to get here) can I use a
floppy drive cable till I get the real thing? and is any rewiring involved?.

You can't just use a floppy cable, the wiring is a bit different
(different pairs of wires are crossed for each type of cable)
