Anyone knows what the Fast steer key in the game Driver does? It doesn't do

360 spin??? I tried it a lot, but I can' get further than about 180 degrees.
And how do you perform the Brake test? And the Speed test? And how do you do
a backwards 180 spin? Am I mistaken or is this a difficult game??????? Even
during some simple chase games, I never beat the computer. And that's at
easy level...

There is a key that you can set up called Burn Out. I forget what the
default is. You press it from a standing start and the tires spin and smoke.
If you put the brakes on you just sit there burning *** (you might drift
forward a little). If you turn all the way in one direction you can do
donuts to your hearts content. Go to the control setup and see what it's set
for. I use the left control key myself. I didn't like the default key. Note
that I found this out after I switched to a faster car (number 4), but I'm
sure the other ones can burn out too.

...I figured it out already. 360's are (indeed) a breeze with the burnout
key. And backwards 180's are so easy using the fast steer key... And the
brake and speed test are so self explanatory... I wonder what I was doing
:-) Still, after passing the first test (it tooks a lot of retries), I'm
still stuck in the first mission. At easy level! These cops hard hard to
lose... But I guess some more tries will do the trick. Once more...

With fast steer, you uhh... steer faster. Press fast steer, turn the
wheel all the way to left or right, hit gas, and you'll make a 360
turn. Very easy.
Speed and brake test: Start at one side of the garage, press the
Burnout key, hit gas, and just before you reach the other wall press
the brakes.
The only thing that I still find quite difficult is the backward 180
turn. Drive backwards full speed, turn the wheel a little bit to the
left, then immediately turn it full to the right with the fast steer
key pressed. You have to play a little bit with gas and brake to get
this one right.
I find the first level too difficult indeed, the first real missions
after the test are much easier.

go in training mode, and the guy shows you exactly how to run the parkade to
pass it. Just follow him a couple of times until you get the hang of it.
Fast steer don't do shit, as far as I'm concerned.. maybe its for the
keyboard/joystick jockeys or something....

other than that, the game ROCKS! no gpl or anything, but pretty cool
boatmobile physics.
and the chases it came from are like bullit on speed!

i have the pedals on combined. (cause I have to have them combined for
revolt to work, which by the way is one of the coolest games I've seen in a
while.)

Yeah, Revolt is a fun game, I've been hooked doing fast laps against my
brother in the demo.

My question is not combined or split axis in pedals, is analogic or
digital.
In the demo the pedals are digital (you can't do a bit gas, you have
gas on or gas off), is in the full game the same?
