NASCAR2 demo problem

I unzipped the demo with -d extension and ran the install program.
My problem is the setup program.  When I type setup, I get "Unable to
begin VGA graphics mode."  When I type n2demo, I get "Unable to read
controls.cfg file" which I assume is created after running the setup
program.

Help please

Copy the options.cfg and controls.cfg files from your other Nascar
directory (if you have NC1), then try it.
